I'm a graduate student in the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science (LPS) at the University of California, Irvine, where I'm pursuing a PhD in philosophy through a joint program with the UC Irvine Department of Philosophy, and a JD at the recently established UCI School of Law. I completed my BA in philosophy, with a minor in mathematics, at the University of Pittsburgh.

My research interests center around the philosophy of Immanuel Kant. I am interested in all aspects of his philosophy, both theoretical and practical, and most of my other interests (e.g. action, law, ethics) are ultimately connected to this basic pursuit.

At present I'm working on some issues that straddle a handful of contemporary sub-disciplines, and which have obvious connections with Kant's system: doxastic voluntarism/epistemic agency, present-directed intention (aka "intention in action"), and the relation of judgment to knowledge and action.
